Recognized as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2020):

Here are some of the reasons why Xerox Canada Ltd. was selected as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2020):

  • Xerox Canada's technology is designed to help customers measure and reduce the impact of their own print operations through the use of solid ink technology, which produces 90 per cent less waste than some cartridge-based systems
  • Xerox Canada also helps clients manage paper usage though its ConnectKey software platform that helps clients reduce the need for additional printers and the unique Print Relief Certification program that tracks customer paper usage -- and even calculates a paper footprint that shows the specific number of trees consumed
  • Xerox Canada launched an internal Energy Challenge 2012 back in 2003 with the initial goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 10 per cent in 10 years -- the organization managed to exceed that target and reduce emissions by 42 per cent and has since set new ambitious targets, including the current goal of reducing emissions by 25 per cent by 2025 (over the 2016 baseline)
