Recognized as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers (2025):
By Richard Yerema and Kristina Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Dec 2, 2024)
Here are some of the reasons why Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company was selected as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers (2025):
- Trisura offers three weeks of paid vacation allowance to start, moving to four weeks after only three years on the job -- and offers additional paid personal days and time off during the summer
- Trisura's charitable program is focused on supporting both large and small organizations working in the areas of health and wellness, providing support for individuals in need, training and education, and environmental initiatives -- and the organization encourages all employees to get involved with two paid volunteer days and matching charitable donations
- Trisura encourages employees to get together during and outside of work, including celebrating the arrival of summer with ice cream sundaes, hosting wine and cheese socials and pancake breakfasts at the office, offering book and walking clubs, and supporting a company hockey team that challenges other firms in that very Canadian way of building outside relationships
