- TMMC supports numerous environmental initiatives in its surrounding communities, including Woodstock Wetland Trail Walk (constructed an extension of an existing trail in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources), Grand River Conservation Authority, Upper Thames Rivers Conservation Authority, Oxford County Children's Water Festival, and the Shade Mills Conservation Centre that features the Toyota Nature Centre and Toyota Nature Trails
- Green-thumbed TMMC employees manage onsite organic Giving Gardens at the Cambridge and Woodstock locations, which produce over $3,200 worth of organic fruits and vegetables each year for donation to local charities -- two honey bee apiaries are also maintained at TMMC's Cambridge facility, producing over 45 kg of honey last year, which was also donated to a local charitable organization
