Recognized as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2021):

Here are some of the reasons why Printing House Ltd., The / TPH was selected as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2021):

  • Along with ensuring proper recycling of e-waste and toner cartridges, The Printing House donates paper cut-offs and envelopes to charities, daycare centres, summer camps and schools -- and paper waste is donated to recyclers and recycled paper makers
  • The Printing House has a longstanding partnership with Forest Farmer to plant a tree for every new Printing House account opened -- thousands of trees have been planted through the program since 2015, with over 1,660 trees planted in 2019 alone
  • In response to worldwide drops in honey bee populations and honey yields, The Printing House took the unique step of working directly with Toronto Bee Rescue and installed eight rooftop hives at its head office location, creating one of the first corporately sponsored bee apiaries in the country -- and across its branch locations, 10 branches are LEED Gold-certified and three are LEED Platinum-certified
