Recognized as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers (2022):
By Kristina Leung and Stephanie Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Mar 7, 2022)
Here are some of the reasons why Ledcor Group of Companies was selected as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers (2022):
- In 2018, Ledcor formally kicked‐off its inclusion and diversity program and has since undertake a number of initiatives including the addition of inclusion and diversity questions in its engagement survey, holding focus groups to gather employee feedback, implementing unconscious bias training, conducting an internal gender pay gap analysis, and restructuring its executive and advisory inclusion and diversity councils
- Additionally, Ledcor supported the launch of a number of employee resource groups in the past year, including the appointment of executive sponsors -- groups include Sexuality and Gender Alliance for LGBTQ2+, a Women's Group, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour), and People with Disabilities

The Employee Resource Groups have had a real impact. [...] It is good to see people from all around the organization joining in the conversation and some mind-opening shares from people and their lived experiences. It makes me proud when I see Ledcor providing a venue for these important conversations to take place. I have seen small things, like revising inclusive wording in documents and presentations, as a meaningful step in showing progress. Imagine the incredible impact we could have by extending this in the way we recruit diverse teams and reshaping what Ledcor will look like in the future as an open and accessible workplace.
