By Richard Yerema and Kristina Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Feb 1, 2021)
Here are some of the reasons why Kinaxis Inc. was selected as one of National Capital Region's Top Employers (2021):
- Kinaxis manages a peer-to-peer recognition program called #HighFive, providing employees with 100 points each year that can be awarded to colleagues in recognition of their achievements (points are redeemable for prizes, the CEO also awards points on employee appreciation day and the company's social committee awards points for participating in social events such as lunch-hour trivia) -- additionally, the company rewards innovation through its patent program, allowing employees to submit a nomination to the Kinaxis Patent Council for a monetary prize
- Kinaxis actively supports a variety of charitable organizations each year and encourages employees to get involved with up to four paid days to volunteer and matching employee donations (up to $200 per employee)
- Kinaxis offers a variety of financial incentives, including a share purchase plan (available to all employees), signing bonuses for some, year-end bonuses for all and generous referral bonuses for employees who recruit candidates from their personal networks (up to $2,500)

By Kristina Leung, Stephanie Leung, and Jing Wang, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Jan 18, 2021)
Here are some of the reasons why Kinaxis Inc. was selected as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People (2021):
- Kinaxis hosted its sixth annual week-long hackathon, challenging employees to utilize their skills and creativity to improve and innovate on the company's products and processes -- after the week is complete, employees vote for the finalists, who then present their ideas live to a panel of senior-level judges (winners attend the company's annual user conference)
- Kinaxis offers co-op placements in a variety of disciplines including arts and communication, software engineering, and computing science, to name a few, and employs dedicated personnel to manage its extensive onboarding and orientation program -- new employees may also have the opportunity to have an informal lunch with the company's CEO
- Students on Kinaxis's Machine Learning team are provided with a unique opportunity to work on a predefined project during their term that covers different areas of technology based on the student's strengths -- students test their creativity and innovation as they progress through their project, presenting and demonstrating their final product to senior leadership
