By Richard Yerema and Kristina Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Jan 27, 2025)
Here are some of the reasons why ENMAX Corporation was selected as one of Alberta's Top Employers (2025):
- ENMAX supports employees in balancing their day-to-day lives by offering a number of flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, flexible hours, shortened workweeks and a compressed summer schedule that allows employees to work longer weekdays to earn every second Friday off during the summer months
- Varying by employee group, ENMAX helps employees save for retirement through defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans -- and offers a number of financial perks along the way, including year-end bonus programs, discounted home and auto insurance and credits on ENMAX energy bills
- ENMAX is actively involved in the communities it serves, contributing over 5,400 volunteer hours on company time in the past year -- additionally, the organization matches employee donations in kind, to a maximum of $1,200 per year

Recognized as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2025):
By Richard Yerema and Chantel Watkins, and Sonja Verpoort, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Apr 21, 2025)
Here are some of the reasons why ENMAX Corporation was selected as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2025):
- ENMAX works with several community organizations to help address and educate consumers on energy usage, including working with Green Calgary to deliver uniquely-tailored workshops for homeowners, people living in apartment buildings and newcomers to Canada
- ENMAX's Calgary Energy Centre facility recently welcomed new on-site beehives in order to enhance local biodiversity and promote awareness of the important role that pollinators play in Calgary -- the hives are maintained by employees who receive training to ensure proper honey harvesting and protection
- ENMAX partners with the Federation of Calgary Communities to manage the Energizing Spaces program, which provides funding and support to community groups to replace old appliances with newer, more energy-efficient models -- ENMAX also invites residents to attend 'install days', providing energy-efficient tools and tips to use in their own homes
