Recognized as one of Atlantic Canada's Top Employers (2025) and Nova Scotia's Top Employers (2025):
By Richard Yerema and Kristina Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Mar 31, 2025)
Here are some of the reasons why EfficiencyOne was selected as one of Atlantic Canada's Top Employers (2025) and Nova Scotia's Top Employers (2025):
- EfficiencyOne invests in ongoing employee education through tuition subsidies for external course, subsidies for professional accreditations, and helps employees achieve their professional goals with career planning services and leadership development programs
- EfficiencyOne encourages employees to plan for the future with a defined contribution pension plan and financial planning sessions (provided by Manulife) -- the organization also offers phased-in work options to help ease the transition to retirement, allowing employees to gradually reduce their hours
- EfficiencyOne's comprehensive health benefits plan includes dedicated mental health care coverage ($1,750 per year for services from psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists), a health spending account ($500), and a separate personal spending account that can be used for physical, mental, and financial well-being expenses, as well as Indigenous health services (including traditional Healers and Elders, medicine, and supplies for Indigenous ceremonies)
