Recognized as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People (2021):

Here are some of the reasons why CGI Inc. was selected as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People (2021):

  • CGI offers a new graduate program, designed to help onboard, integrate, and build a broad range of technical and non-technical skills, including enhancing professional relationships or networks -- each cohort of new graduates attends courses over a period of two years on subjects such as structured communications, the art of consulting, developing your career, and agile and DevOps
  • At CGI, employees, managers and resource managers collaborate to identify assignments that will support an individual's career path, updating their profile, competencies and CV in the company's internal resource management tool when projects are completed or when an employee acquires a new skill -- employees can then match their skills to open roles and assess required training for their next assignment or potential promotion
  • CGI helps high-potential employees prepare for leadership roles through a variety of programs, including a one-year blended learning and development program called Key Achievers -- participants grow skills through classroom sessions, self-directed learning, one-on-one coaching, networking sessions, self-assessment and success plans, and a capstone Dragon's Den case session that is presented to a "client" panel
