Here are some of the reasons why Canadian Tire Corporation Limited was selected as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers (2025):
- Canadian Tire Corporation organizes an annual diversity, inclusion and belonging survey to collect feedback and gauge sentiments of belonging across the organization -- survey results are shared with employees for transparency and annual objectives are developed with employee feedback in mind
- Canadian Tire Corporation created a diverse workforce plan to attract and retain talent from equity groups and provides inclusive hiring workshops to ensure hiring processes are equitable and inclusive
- Canadian Tire Corporation invests in its mental health programming, partnering with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) to co-design its strategy -- employees also have access to Inkblot virtual counselling, as well as benefits coverage of up to $5,000 for psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, clinical counsellors, marriage and family therapists and psychoanalysts
