By Richard Yerema and Kristina Leung, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Dec 2, 2024)
Here are some of the reasons why Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited was selected as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers (2025):
- Cadillac Fairview encourages employees to donate their time for causes that are near and dear to their hearts by providing a paid day off to volunteer each year -- and also provides charitable donations to organizations where employees volunteer their time, up to $3,000 for individual volunteer efforts and $5,000 for team efforts
- As part of the company's health benefits plan, Cadillac Fairview offers a health and wellness spending account which can be used at employees' discretion for related expenses, such as gym memberships (to $750 each year)
- Employee well-being is a priority for Cadillac Fairview, with the organization recently enhancing coverage for the mental health practitioners covered under its health plan to $1,500 per year -- employees are also encouraged to disconnect from work and recharge with four paid well-being days

By Richard Yerema and Chantel Watkins, and Sonja Verpoort, Mediacorp Canada Inc. staff editors (Apr 21, 2025)
Here are some of the reasons why Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited was selected as one of Canada's Greenest Employers (2025):
- Cadillac Fairview incorporates environmental design into all new construction activities (targeting industry standards such as BOMA Best and LEED certification programs) -- the company has also completed energy audits, set water-use reduction targets and introduced formal Energy Smart Operations (ESO) programs at property locations
- Along with numerous green features and its formal energy savings programs, Cadillac Fairview's massive Yonge Corporate Centre in Toronto has specifically planted bee-friendly plants throughout the large eight-acre property, including rhododendrons, sage salvia, coneflower, cranesbill, geranium, repeat blooming lilacs, bee balm, coral bells, stonecrop sedum, yarrow and asters
- Cadillac Fairview manages the national Green at Work program that features local employee green teams working to ensure sustainability is embedded into all business operations at property locations -- since its inception in 2008, the efforts of the Green at Work program have led to a 59 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
